Uniting Through Traditional Music is a project that has begun on 1 January 2004 and been supported with a grant from the Bi-communal Development Programme, which is funded by USAID and UNDP and is executed by UNOPS. The aim of this project is to establish a common Cyprus music archive with systematic and methodological research and analysis using the ethnomusicological approach.

Only a part of the material is selected to be included on this website, making it possible for anyone interested in Cypriot music to have access. The complete original recordings are located in the laboratory of the Cyprus Music Network situated at Intercollege, Nicosia.
